This book was a great short read. Before purchasing, I read some not-so-positive remarks about it being anti-biblical. There will always be negative critics.
This book is an inspiring story of a real family, dealing with real struggles and encountering a real God along the way. It’s an incredible journey of a little boy who nearly lost his life after his appendix ruptured, spreading poison through his body for 5 days.
Some months later, his parents begin to realize that something truly extraordinary happened to their not quite 4-year-old son. Little Colton went to heaven for a short time and got to meet Jesus! Pastor Todd Burpo, the father of Colton, finds out that his son has a better understanding of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit than he does.
I encourage everyone to read this family’s journey and how little Colton has taught them how Heaven is For Real.
