Every once in a while life has a few strong storms that shake us up. If we’re honest, many of us wish we were only dealing with a little tropical storm because we’ve had tornados that wiped out life around us, causing massive devastation. One of the things I have learned is that no matter what storms we survive, we don’t have to remain a victim. Through Jesus, we have the ability to be stronger than before. There is something amazing about a person who has been through “stuff,” yet shines brighter. Job 11:16-18 says, “You will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by. Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning. You will be secure because there is hope.” For those of you in a storm right now, keep this scripture with you and meditate on it when you start to lose hope.

If you have been through a major storm, I encourage you to think about what good has come out of it and start sharing it with others. Our testimonies of God’s faithfulness are powerful and someone else needs to hear it. Revelation 12:11 says, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”

Our testimonies are powerful! I’d love to hear yours.
